Use
this if you have a “stuck” update or upgrade install.
Found
this on the Windows 10 forum. It worked for the person that posed
the question so I tried it and it worked for me.
Enter
Troubleshooting on the search bar
Select
Troubleshooting Contol panel
When
it comes up select View All in the upper left corner
From
the list it presents select select Windows Update
You
get a box that says Fix and resolve problems that prevent you from
updating Windows.
Run
the Troubleshooter
It
may report no errors found.
Restart
the computer
Go
to Settings select Update and Security and the hung download
is gone.
Have
it check for updates.
I
checked for updates and it found and installed the updates

Windows 10 Build 11099
From Microsoft News January 13, 2016 - http://microsoft-news.com/known-issues-in-windows-10-build-11099/
Microsoft today released Windows 10 Build 11099 to Windows Insiders in the Fast Ring. From now on, Microsoft will be publishing known issues for builds in the Insider Hub rather than in their blog posts.
The article suggests major Win10 updates in June and later in the year.

Just a reminder that all EVACC computer club members are invited to visit Mesa Regal RV Resort on Wednesday January 27, 2016 for our annual Computer Expo. Time is 9:00 AM to 12 noon.
Mesa Regal is located at 4700 East Main Street in Mesa and the event is being held in Regal Hall.

Initial tables will be: Help Desk, Password Protection, Windows 10, Picasa, GPS, Apple Products, Mulqueen Sewing, Wells Fargo, Genealogy, Staples, Bits N Bytes Computers, SOS Computers, Geocaching, Gimp, and more. There will be refreshments and door prizes for all. Mesa Regal Club members will also win prizes. Come by and see what we have to offer.

January Meeting
EVACC participants:
Next week's host is the Sunland Village CC. In my absence (vacation), your hosts will be club president Linda Bennett, tech expert Bob Phelps and assorted board members.
The owner of BYTS Computer Repair will be our guest speaker.
Last March, Silvercom member Ron Brown volunteered to create a forum for EVACC members to share information and ask questions of each other. He and Viewpoint's Bob King would like to test this for 4-6 weeks, then present it to our February 8 meeting at Viewpoint. They will have something to say about this next week.
Bring your questions, comments and knowledge. We meet in Capri Hall, 4239 E Capri Ave, 480-830-7035. This is just south of Broadway and west of Greenfield Road -- across the street from the main Sunland Village community. The building is at the far end of Capri on the left; a small parking lot is in front.
